US company Caterpillar come up with an entire range of smartphones with optimized durability and specific features. The CAT S50 is a rugged Android phone that comes equipped with high-end features designed for outdoor freaks.
The Cat S50 is a fully ruggedized Android smartphone, with a Gorilla Glass 3 screen layer protection and shock absorbent frame. It has a frame lined with rubber that is designed to act as a shock absorber if the phone is accidentally dropped. The Cat S50 is also certified to the Mil-Spec 810G standard too, which involves dropping a phone on each part of its surface from a height of 48 inches. S50 is also waterproof, certified dustproof to IP6X and waterproof to IPX7, which means that it is capable of lasting under a meter of water for half an hour. It has a 4.7-inch 720P LCD screen. It weighs 185g which is not actually lightweight.

It is installed with Waves MaxxAudio which provides unparalleled audio performance whenever you are listening to your favorite songs or watching movies.
The Cat S50 features an 8-megapixel rear camera, and the forward-facing shooter is a meek VGA option.
