Details of Apple iPhone 9

Expected to hit the stores in autumn next year, Apple iPhone 9 is estimated to have a wide range of new augmented reality features and specs. The latest speculations doing the rounds suggest the inclusion of a rear-facing 3D scanner with the same all-screen design. The autumn season of every year is the season when Apple usually releases new iPhones, and by that logic, we can expect the iPhone 9 to be unveiled in September 2018. The KGI Securities' analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reckons that iPhone updates will include as many as three new screen sizes, including the biggest screen on an iPhone.  Quoting anonymous industry sources, Apple and Samsung had signed a deal for the supply of OLED panels in iPhones next year, and that these would be supplied in 5.28in and 6.46in sizes – a mighty increase on the 4.7in and 5.5in screen sizes in the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus respectively. Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted that there will be three new iPhone models, a 6.5in, 6.1in and a 5.8in models. According to the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 9 will feature an OLED screen and will have an LCD-TFT display at a lower price with added Face ID and wireless charging features. A report published by Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that Apple will develop and expand its new Face ID facial recognition technology to all the new iPhones released in autumn 2018, particularly in iPhone 9. Kuo also believes that there is the only remote possibility of Face ID, or any of the TrueDepth technology, will make it to the iPhone's rear-facing camera. Bloomberg has predicted that the iPhone 9 will have a 3D scanner on its rear sensor array, in addition to the TrueDepth scanner on the front which is used for Face ID, Animoji and similar features. Bloomberg is almost sure that Apple is in the process of developing a longer-range wireless charging technique, potentially charging at a distance of about 1 metre using near-field magnetic resonance. Steve Rizzone, CEO of Energous, dropped some major clues about a special key strategic partnership that the company signed a couple of years back. Korea Economic Daily claims that Apple has chosen LG Chem as the exclusive supplier for batteries that will be featured in the next-generation iPhone and primarily in iPhone 9 due out in 2018. Apple is investing time and money to understand and develop the prospects of integrating the Touch ID fingerprint scanner into the display of a smartphone or tablet.  Apple seems to be keen to improve the camera capabilities of its iOS devices, and one patent published by USPTO suggests we could soon see iPhones that are able to capture "Super-resolution" photos thanks to optical image stabilisation, which is already a feature of the iPhone 6 Plus. Rumors are flying to suggest that Apple is gearing up to introduce DSLR quality and interchangeable camera lenses in the due for release iPhone 9. Also, if the testing and experiment turns out remarkably well, the iPhone world will witness the inclusion of 5G in its upcoming phones.
