Xiaomi announces the Redmi Pro Android smartphone, features a 10-core CPU, dual cameras and OLED display

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has officially taken the wraps of their latest Android smartphone called the Xiaomi Redmi Pro. The smartphone now comes with dual-lens camera setup, an OLED display, and a powerful 10-core processor from MediaTek.

The processor is the Helio X25 which features a tri-cluster CPU architecture. The smartphone runs with 4GB RAM, and the internal storage varies from 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB models. The design of the smartphone consists of a brushed aluminum body with 2.5D curved glass. The device will come with MIUI 8 out of the box.

The OLED display is 5.5-inches in size with 60000:1 contrast ratio. The large body houses a 4050 mAh battery with USB Type-C charging. There is a fingerprint scanner on the front. The cameras include a dual-lens setup on the rear, one boasting a 13MP image sensor, and another with a 5MP module.

While the Middle Eastern availability is yet to be known, the 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB variant will cost about $225, $255, and $300, respectively.
