Keeping up with their tradition of launching smartwatches at IFA, ASUS has unveiled their ZenWatch 3 this year. The third addition to their Android wearables series, it takes a big leap forward from the first two models. Introducing a round and ergonomic design, higher performance and faster charging, the ZenWatch 3 seems to be leading the charge to herald a new generation of smartwatches.
The ZenWatch 3 comes with a full 360-degree 1.39 inch AMOLED display powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor, which is a massive upgrade in comparison to most Android Wear watches in the market right now. The device comes in three color models with gunmetal, rose gold and silver. The body is made from jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel and is IP67 water-resistant, carrying three buttons on the right side.
The price seems to be set at €229, which is fairly competitive for these specifications and matches their last two ZenWatches.
