Xiaomi has pretty much set the mobile phone world on fire by one-upping the Note7 (in a good way). Pure technical specifications-wise, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 looks to fill the gap in the Android market left by Samsung’s recalled device.
The main body of the phone consists of a two-sided dual curve design, with 3D curved glass on the front and back. An aluminum frame keeps everything together, including the 5.7-inch OLED flexible display. Xiaomi boasts a massive 77.2% screen-to-body ratio for the Mi Note 2.
The 22.56MP high-resolution camera featuring EIS hardware-level 4K video stabilization along with a slew of other features. On the front, we have an 8MP front camera with autofocus, Beautify 3.0 and another armory of selfie features to help you populate for Snapchat Stories.
The Mi Note 2 also features a large number of Global LTE bands, full NFC functionality, high definition audio quality and supports a high-precision GPS sensor.
The hardware put into the Mi Note 2 is no joke. The powerful Snapdragon 821 running at up to 2.35GHz coupled with 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB storage space puts it at the cutting edge of smartphone performance in the current market. With a massive 4070mAh battery capacity along with Quick Charge 3.0, the Mi Note 2 outclasses almost every other phone currently out.
The phone comes in two stunning colors – Piano Black and Glacier White. It comes in three variants, the first is a 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage for RMB 2799 (approx. AED 1520 AED), a 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage at RMB 3299 (approx. AED 1790) and a global version of the 6GB model for RMB 3499 (approx. AED 1900). No exact date on when it will be available in the UAE, but we know we will be doing our best to get our hands on it as soon as it is out.
