One of the leading banks in the region, Emirates NBD, announced an upgrade to its widely used ‘mePay’ service by enabling cash transfers to recipients who are not Emirates NBD customers or do not have any bank account.
Using an Emirates NBD ATM or their mobile banking app, customers can transfer cash to anyone in the UAE using only the recipient’s mobile number. Beneficiaries will receive a SMS message with a one-time PIN, which they can use to withdraw the amount transferred from any nearby Emirates NBD ATM.

This is the first service of its kind in the MENA region, pioneered by Emirates NBD Future Lab™. By incorporating their extensive ATM network and the award-winning mobile banking platform, Emirates NBD will be offering their customers a convenient user experience. Now they can withdraw cash from an Emirates NBD ATM without the need for a banking card, using only their mobile phone.
