According to a report by VentureBeat, Google is teaming up with LG to launch the first smartwatches that are powered by Android Wear 2.0 OS. The watches which are called the LG Watch Sport and the LG Watch Style is set to be unveiled on 9th February.
The two smartwatches are said to feature circular displays with OLED panels, one of which will be 1.38-inches in size (480 x 480 resolution) and the other smaller LG Watch Style with a 1.2-inch display (360 x 360 resolution). Additionally, the LG Watch Sport comes with 768MB RAM and a 430 mAh battery, while the smaller LG Watch Style comes with 512MB RAM and 240 mAh battery.
The new smart timepieces also offer IP68 and IP67 certified water and dust resistance for the Sport and Style, respectively. Both the devices feature WiFi and Bluetooth. However, the LG Watch Sport also comes with 3G, GPS, NFC, and also a heart rate sensor.
