Dubai never fails to impress when it comes to technological advancements and innovations. As a part of the Intersec conference (A trade fair for safety and fire protection, the Dubai Civil Defence now has a new system called the Dolphin that can tackle fires in tough areas like boats and shoreline structures in less response time.

The new Dolphin system consists of a jet ski with a firefighter equipped with a jetpack. The firefighter can basically race towards the area where the fire had taken place via the jet ski from a floating fire station. The firefighter will then use his jetpack to fly upwards towards a shoreline structure such as a burning vehicle on a bridge. The Dubai Civil Defence has demonstrated it in a video.

The new system was presented by Maj Gen Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, the director general of Dubai Civil Defence. Dolphin will surely help the Dubai Civil Force to tackle blazes in areas such as the Dubai Canal.
