Tesla, the Californian-based electric automaker is finally coming to the Middle East region, as the company has officially sent out invites for its launch event that’s scheduled for February 13th. The launch event will be held at the Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla is expected to make an official appearance at the launch event. It’s reported that Elon Musk will be attending the fifth edition of the World Government Summit (WGS) before the brand’s official launch in the UAE, and will be one of the speakers of WGS, as confirmed by the country’s Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future.

Tesla has already listed out job openings for the upcoming Tesla service center in Dubai, such as advisors, service managers, service technicians and so on. Up until now, the residents of the UAE have already purchased Tesla-branded self-driving vehicles by importing them from abroad.
While UAE, and the city of Dubai is focusing on increasing the usage of electric cars, the official introduction of Tesla will certainly help to create a greener environment. The Dubai Water and Electricity (DEWA) has already installed over 100 charging stations since the last two years.
