Soon, you will be able to have a conversational inquiry with an advanced AI from your living room, as Sony’s latest series of 4K HDR Android TV’s now comes powered with the Google Assistant. The new TV’s which ranges from 43-inch to a maximum 75-inch display size features the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme for enhancing image quality and greater color detail.
The following are the new model numbers: the Sony XBR-X800E, XBR-X850E, XBR-X900E, XBR-X930E, and the XBR-X940E TVs. While Google Assistant used to be an exclusive feature for the Google Pixel smartphone, the AI is now also a part of the new LG Watch Sport and Style smartwatches that run on Android Wear 2.0.
Users will only need to press a button on the remote for Google Assistant to start hearing you. This will help to avoid unnecessary picking up words from users that wasn’t intended for Google Assistant. The integration of Google Assistant on Sony’s new televisions should help users to do more like searching for movies, changing channels or inputs, launching or searching for applications, asking for suggestions, booking or scheduling tasks, looking at sports news, statuses and more.
