Sony Corp has officially announced their all new RX1R II compact camera that houses a large 42.4MP full-frame Exmor R CMOS image sensor. And with a fixed 35mm F2 ZEISS Sonnar T* lens, the camera is bound to offer excellent image quality at its best. Street Shooters will love this camera.

While full-frame sensors are usually large in size, the Sony RX1R II provides professional grade photography in a small compact form factor. It’s the official successor of the previous Sony RX1 camera. Sony says that the RX1 RII is the world’s first camera to come with an optical variable low pass filter which lets you fiddle with the sharpness of the images taken.

The ISO can be pushed all the way to 102,400. There is also a built-in 2.4 million dot XGA OLED viewfinder. You can also record Full HD videos up to 60fps. While the camera is impressive in specs, the price is set to a whopping $3300.
