While Samsung has decided to unveil the Galaxy S8 smartphone for a later date, the company has officially unwrapped their latest iteration of tablets, one of which is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Unlike the previous Galaxy Tab S2 series, the new tablet will only come in 9.7-inch display size and support for S-Pen and keyboard attachment capability.

The resolution of the Super AMOLED screen is 1536 x 2048. The tablet is only 6mm thick and weighs 429g for the WiFi variant. However, the LTE model will be slightly heavier at 435g. The device features an all-glass back with metal frames for the premium feel and look. The back panel basically doesn’t have the camera hump that was there on the previous Galaxy Tab S2.

The camera on the rear boasts a 13MP camera with F1.9 aperture and LED flash, while the 5MP on the front is supported with F2.2 lens. The Galaxy Tab S3 is supercharged with the Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM, the fastest hardware yet on a Galaxy Android tablet. For immersive audio, the tablet now comes with four speakers that are fine-tuned by AKG. The tablet runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Samsung goes ahead to use the USB Type-C port on the new tablet, along with the usual 3.5mm audio jack and the SIM slot, if you’ve chosen the LTE model. The device houses a large 6000 mAh battery on-board with fast charge support. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 supports new accessories such as the keyboard that offers an optimized keyboard layout for easy typing, and the S-Pen, which allows users to do multitasking features and draw or edit.

The Samsung Tab S3 is expected to reach the UAE soon in some time. We will update you about the price as soon as we receive them. Stay tuned.
