While Nokia has yet to unveil new flagship Android smartphones this year, a couple of new sketches have been posted by Nokia Power User, which reveals a bezel-less design, dual-cameras on the rear and more. The two smartphones on the sketch are allegedly claimed to be the Nokia 8 and the Nokia 9.
The smartphone on the left is supposedly the Nokia 8, which features a bezel-less display on the sides, but with room for a home button on the bottom side. The right sided smartphone is claimed to be the Nokia 9 but with no home button on the front. However, both the smartphones feature dual-cameras on the rear. The obvious difference is that the Nokia 8 doesn’t feature a fingerprint scanner on the rear side, something that the Nokia 9 has one. We can easily guess that the Nokia 8’s fingerprint scanner will be on the front home button.
The rumored specifications for the Nokia 9 include a 5.5-inch QHD OLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, Android 7.1.2 OS, Iris and fingerprint scanner, IP68 waterproofing, and a 22MP dual-lens Carl-Zeiss camera on the rear. Another new rumor is that the Nokia 9’s display is said to have an aspect ratio of 18:9.
We can’t wait to see the smartphone competition heat up when Nokia brings out these bad boys onto the market. Currently, the latest Android smartphone flagships are Samsung Galaxy S8 series, LG G6, Huawei P10 series, Sony Xperia XZ Premium and more.
