According to a promotional video clip that was leaked by a Nokia brand photographer, two unspecified smartphones were showcased next to a Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. The alleged device is believed to be the rumored Nokia 9 flagship smartphone and is expected to feature a dual-lens camera on the rear side. Earlier this year, Nokia had released the Nokia 6 that featured a 5.5-inch display, 32GB inbuilt storage, Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB RAM. Read more here.
As a part of the Google I/O 2017 event, Google Inc. had officially announced the launch of the Google Assistant AI for the iOS platform. However, users in Dubai will have to wait a bit more as there is no official word yet on the availability for the UAE region. Google Assistant was first launched alongside the release of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, and later with other devices such as LG G6 and Moto G5. While Google Assistant is known for its conversational capability, the iOS version of the app will be limited. For all those BlackBerry fans, Axiom Telecom has started the preorders of the latest BlackBerry KEYone Android smartphone for AED 1999. The smartphone is expected to be available on 25th May 2017. The KEYone is the last smartphone to be designed in-house by BlackBerry and is manufactured by TCL. The smartphone features a 4.5-inch IPS display with 3:2 aspect ratio. The most striking feature of the device is the built-in keyboard that also houses keys that can be assigned to different applications as shortcuts and a fingerprint scanner embedded on the space key. HTC Middle East has officially launched their latest Snapdragon 835 powered flagship called the HTC U11 in Dubai, UAE. The smartphone features a unique control capability by simply “squeezing” the device on its pressure sensitive side panels called the Edge Sense. For instance, a short press can activate the camera application and a long press can trigger Google Assistant. You will also be able to assign different applications for Edge Sense for different pages. HTC will be releasing the 128GB HTC U11 in Dubai by the first week of June and is priced at AED 2599 in the UAE. Read more here.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that Apple will unveil the long-rumored 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro tablet and a new Siri powered speaker at the upcoming WWDC 2017 conference by June. Apart from the display size format, the tablet is expected to feature ultra-thin bezels. Kuo says that there is a 50% chance Apple will launch the Siri-based speaker and 70% possibility for the new iPad. Other announcements expected are the iOS 11 update, macOS 10.13, tvOS 11 and watchOS 4 for iPhones/iPads, MacBooks, Apple TV and Apple Watch devices, respectively. Read more here.

The smartphone, which is priced at AED 1049, features a 5.2-inch display with FHD resolution, Kirin 658 processor, 4GB RAM, Android 7.0 OS, 3000 mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner and more.
