Help Donate Data By Keeping Your Phone Locked This Ramadan.

Lenovo Mobile Business Group is bringing back its Hadia Time app, which donates data to migrant workers by encouraging users to keep their phone locked at a specific time and spend quality time with their family and friends.

Once installed, the Android-only app will donate data for every minute your smartphone stays locked between 7pm-10pm. The data will go to migrant workers and enable them to connect with their families during the Holy month of Ramadan.

“Following the success of Hadia Time initiative last year, we are excited to bring it back and continue spreading the spirit of Ramadan,” said Sharay Shams, General Manager for Mobile Business Group, Lenovo Middle East in a press release. “As a company, we are committed to making people’s lives better through our innovative products.”

Last year, the Hadia App was downloaded over 31,000 across the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With over 11,000 registered users, the app managed to donate three million minutes to migrant workers.
