Samsung Galaxy Note8 Leaks Reveals New Features

By Team Feedbaac
Dual cameras and an on-screen fingerprint sensor might be coming for Samsung’s new flagship.

With the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco behind them, Samsung is swiftly moving gears to produce the next iteration in their famous Note lineup of smartphones. The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be announced sometime this year, and if the new set of leaks are to be believed, it will sport some interesting new features.

According to a leaked render from Poyoco Tech, the Galaxy Note 8 will allegedly have dual cameras, placed vertically much like the rumored iPhone 8. Another interesting thing to note about the render is that the back of the device does not feature a fingerprint scanner, like the one found on the Galaxy S8. This could very well mean that Samsung is finally jumping ship to include an on-screen fingerprint scanner, making Note 8 the first smartphone in the world to feature the technology (unless Apple beats them to it).

Poyoco Tech also leaked other bits of information about the device, saying that the Note 8 will have AKG-tuned stereo speakers, as well as a textured Bixby button. The S Pen will also see some minor improvements and will include a built-in vibrator to make it easier to find it using the Find My Mobile app available to Galaxy Devices.

Another render leak, this time from Ice Universe, hints at a smaller corner radius on the screen, meaning the display will pack slightly more pixels on the curve of the device. Samsung is reportedly going to use its Infinity Display, the same display technology used in the Galaxy S8.
