HMD Global, Finnish smartphone maker, has officially introduced the latest Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 at The Farm Restaurant in Dubai, UAE. The new smartphones were unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. These devices combine superior craftsmanship, a distinctive design in which Nokia is known for and powerful entertainment features with a pure Android experience for every user.

Among the three smartphones, the Nokia 6 is the biggest of all, featuring a 5.5” full HD screen. HMD says that the unibody of every Nokia 6 is crafted from a single block of 6000 series aluminium, ensuring a robust phone.
The device also comes with a smart audio amplifier with dual speakers for a deep bass and unmatched clarity, whilst Dolby Atmos® sound delivers a powerfully moving entertainment experience. The Nokia 6 features a fully laminated display for excellent sunlight readability.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 430 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The camera on the rear side is 16MP with 1080p video recording and the front camera holds an 8MP selfie snapper. The battery on the Nokia 6 features a capacity of 3000 mAh.
The Nokia 5 has also been precision engineered out of a single block of 6000 series aluminium, that lead to the creation of a perfect pillowed body that flows seamlessly into the laminated 5.2-inch IPS HD display with sculpted Corning® Gorilla® Glass.
The device also features a ground-breaking innovation in antenna design philosophy. Its powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 430 mobile processor with improved graphics performance. It also includes an 8MP, 84-degree wide-angle front facing camera for wider selfie, while the screen offers excellent sunlight visibility. The RAM is 2GB and the internal storage is 16GB. The battery is 3000 mAh and the camera on the rear holds a 13MP image sensor.
The Nokia 3 features a precision-machined aluminium frame that’s forged out of a single piece of aluminium, while offering exceptional structural integrity and protection where it counts. The device holds a 5-inch with 720p resolution and with sculpted Corning® Gorilla® Glass.
The integrated 8MP wide aperture cameras on the front and back, comes with F2.0 aperture. It’s powered by the MediaTek MT6767 processor and 2GB RAM. The internal storage of this device is 16GB and the battery is 2650 mAh, which seems quite low for today’s standards.
HMD says that all the three Nokia smartphones will run on the latest Android Nougat operating system. HMD Global also adds that they have worked closely with Google to ensure that users get a pure Android experience while not sacrificing functionality and security.
The Nokia 6 will be available in July in Dubai and will retail at AED 799, whereas the Nokia 5 will be available on July 12 and will retail at AED 649 in the UAE. The Nokia 3 will be priced at AED 499 in Dubai and the color options include Matte Black, Silver, and Tempered Blue, which will be purchasable from June 29. The Copper color version of the Nokia 3 will be available from July for the same price.
