Shoppers will no longer need to worry about carrying their purchased products and groceries to their home, thanks to Fetchr.

While users in Dubai loves to shop different products and groceries, it can become a real pain to carry these products on their way back home. This is a real problem, especially for those who buys kilograms of groceries and have to carry it around in the scorching heat of Dubai. Well, the latest development is that Majid Al Futtaim has officially introduced its “hands-free” shopping experience, where users can drop their purchased items at the Mall of the Emirates’ designated points and have them delivered to their homes.

The new venture is said to be a first of its kind in the region. Reportedly, the mall did go through a testing phase back in December 2016. The initial testing of this idea brought upon positive responses from shoppers. The new “hands-free” is all possible, thanks to Majid Al Futtaim’s tie-up with Fetchr.

Users can drop off the bags at the “Hands-Free” collection desks that are located around the mall. The bags will be securely sealed by the Fetchr team members and will accordingly schedule a home delivery on your preferences. You can also schedule the delivery using the Mall of the Emirates mobile application or directly call the Hands-free shopping team, 20 minutes prior to leaving the mall. Alternatively, you can also use the Fetchr app to schedule the delivery. Users must take note that storing bags at the collection desks are free, however, the rates for delivering the products on the same day or next day to hotels and residential areas in the UAE will be applied.

It’s good to see that users in Dubai will have new options that make their shopping experience better and we hope that other major shopping malls and retail shops to follow suit.
