Samsung may be implementing some of the Galaxy S8 design cues for the upcoming Note8 smartphone.

For so long we all have come across various rumors about the next iteration of Samsung’s flagship smartphone. As it happens so, Onleaks, who is a reliable tipster for rumors and leaks, has published a series of leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note8 with the help of online publication website 91Mobiles.

From the device that we see in the renders, it looks like Samsung will be borrowing some of the design cues of the current Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. For instance, the all-glass body with the aluminum frame is something worth noting. There is the 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom, along with the speaker grill, the S-Pen holder, and the USB Type-C port.

What’s more intriguing is that the renders showcase the fingerprint scanner is located on the rear side, instead of the embedded screen design that was rumored in the past. The dual-lens camera, the flash, and the fingerprint scanner is aligned horizontally and sits above a slightly protruding glass piece.

91Mobiles reports that the Galaxy Note8 is 8.4mm thick for the main body, while the camera module on the rear increases the thickness to 9.5mm. Rumors claim that the edge-to-edge Infinity display will have a screen size of 6.3-inches. The device will likely be powered by the Exynos 8895 processor with 6GB RAM. It should be noted that the Galaxy S8 has only 4GB RAM. The battery is also tipped to hold a capacity of 3300 mAh.

A recent rumor also claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note8 will allegedly cost about $1100 (AED 4040). The smartphone is expected to be unveiled later by the end of August 2017.
