LG is making a smaller version of the LG G6 but with a single-lens camera.

The LG G6 is quite a remarkable smartphone for its sleek, bezel-less design and the 18:9 aspect ratio display. And it happens so that Evan Blass had tweeted that there will be a smaller version of the LG G6 and it will be reportedly called as the LG Q6.

Evan Blass mentions that the LG Q6 will feature a display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio, much like the LG G6. The display is said to be 5.4-inches in size. However, Evan Blass also adds that the camera on the LG Q6 will have a single-lens setup, unlike the dual-lens configuration of the LG G6. The new device would also come with 3GB RAM.

There aren’t any details regarding the processor that will be used in the LG Q6, so we are left to guess that it could be the Snapdragon 821 processor or a lower chip such as the Snapdragon 650 CPU. Despite holding a large display, the LG G6 is quite portable that fits in one hand. We wonder how small will the upcoming LG Q6 be with a 5.4-inch screen and a wide aspect ratio.

While the release date of the LG Q6 is not known, for now, chances are that LG could unveil the device at the IFA 2017 event, which is hardly two months away from now.
