While LG is expected to unveil a mini version of the LG G6, new reports suggest that Samsung is working on their own mini version of the Galaxy S8 smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Mini is said to feature a 5.3-inch display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio.
Thanks to the smaller screen size and the Infinity display with slim bezels, the device is said to bring out the experience of the 4.7-inch smartphone. However, rumors claim that the Galaxy S8 Mini will come powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Interestingly, the device will also hold an iris scanner and the same 12MP dual pixel camera that’s found in the Galaxy S8.
It's interesting to see Samsung returning to the small-sized smartphone market as the last model that they released was the Galaxy S5 Mini. This should be good news for those who want a small form-factor device with high-end specifications. Sony is also expected to announce the Xperia XZ1 Compact with flagship specifications at the IFA 2017. We can guess that Samsung might also be getting ready to announce the Galaxy S8 Mini at the IFA 2017. We will let you know once more information comes out.
