While we are almost a month away from the launch of Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, new renders have been leaked by a tipster who goes by the name as Ice Universe. The device in the renders is claimed to be the front side of the Samsung Galaxy Note8.
The smartphone in the render appears to have very thin bezels on the sides and resembles the Infinity Display of the existing Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. However, the render does show that the bezels on the top and the bottom portion of the screen aren’t as thin as the existing Galaxy S8 series flagships devices. Rumors suggest that the Super AMOLED display is said to be 6.3-inches in size. We are still not sure if the edge panel of the Note8 render is curved or not.
We can also see that the recent keys, home button, and the back button are an integral part of the display itself. On the contrary, the Galaxy S8 also features the same design along with support haptic feedback. It’s also rumored that the Galaxy Note8 may come with an integrated iris scanner on the front side. The rounded icons in the UI appear to be the same as found in the Galaxy S8. A recent sketch leak of the Galaxy Note8 claims that the speaker grill, the headphone jack, and the USB Type-C port is located at the bottom of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is said to feature the Snapdragon 835 processor (for some regions), or with the Exynos 8895 octa-core CPU. This is the same that’s used in the Galaxy S8 series. However, the Note8 is said to come with 6GB RAM as opposed to the 4GB RAM of the Galaxy S8. One of the new features is that the Note8 could come with a 12MP dual-lens camera setup on the rear side.
Unlike the fingerprint scanner that sits next to the main camera on the Galaxy S8, rumors claim that the Samsung will separate the positioning of the fingerprint sensor from the cameras with the help of the dual tone LED flash. The battery of the Galaxy Note8 is said to hold a capacity of 3300 mAh.
With Samsung getting ready to announce the Galaxy Note8 smartphone just a bit before the IFA 2017 event, rumors claim that the device will be priced at $900 (AED 3305). So, expect the price of the Galaxy Note8 to be expensive in the UAE.
