After all the rumors that have been leaked, it appears that a series of CAD drawing renders have surfaced online. The renders were tweeted by Benjamin Geskin and claims that the renders look close to the final design of the upcoming Apple iPhone 8. While it may be called as the iPhone 8 or iPhone X or iPhone Anniversary Edition, the device is expected to feature an OLED display, which will be a first in the Apple portfolio.
The smartphone is rumored to come with very thin bezels so as to increase the screen estate. The OLED panel is said to be manufactured by Samsung. The company had reportedly signed a deal with Apple for the supply of these panels. The iPhone 8 also holds a dual-lens camera on the rear side, with the camera modules aligned in a vertical fashion. Apple may also add wireless charging capabilities to the iPhone 8, however, there were certain reports that the Apple may release the components needed as a separate purchase.
Along with the rumors of the upcoming OLED iPhone, the Cupertino company may be preparing to launch the successor of the Apple iPhone SE. While there were certain reports of analysts who that the iPhone SE could be the last 4-inch smartphone from Apple, a website who goes by the name as iGeneration reported that Apple is indeed planning to launch a new version by the end of August. The source of this report also claims that Apple may have pushed the launch of the iPhone 8 to October. Interestingly, Samsung is also getting ready to launch the highly anticipated Galaxy Note8 smartphone by August 23rd. For now, there isn’t any information on the specifications that will be featured on the new iPhone SE. However, if history has taught us anything, its easy to guess that Apple may use the same hardware of the iPhone 6s or the iPhone 7 on the rumored Apple iPhone SE.
After the launch of the Moto Z smartphone that featured an innovative snap-in modular design, Lenovo has unveiled the Motorola Moto Z2 Force smartphone, featuring the latest mobile hardware and new Moto Mods. The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB RAM. The 5.5-inch display features a POLED panel with Quad HD resolution. The camera on the back features dual 12MP lens and image sensors with f2.0 aperture. One of the lenses can be used for monochrome shots and the dual-lens configuration allows users to create depth of field effects while taking shots. The front camera features a 5MP image sensor with f2.2 lens. Motorola also introduced a new Moto Mod called the 360 Camera Mod that records 4K videos and 3D audio at a 360- degree fashion. We are yet to receive the pricing details and availability of the Moto Z2 Force in the UAE.
After the acquisition of Nextbit, Razer is expected to release a new smartphone that is targeted at hardcore gamers. The smartphone will feature a unique mobile design for enhanced gaming experience. Razer is also said to increase their IPO in China for $5 billion. This high-budget funding will help speed up the development of the smartphone and the new IPO is said to be the biggest debuts in the Asian financial markets. As of now, there isn’t any information on the specifications that the Razer smartphone would feature. Perhaps if we could see an Android gaming smartphone with detachable controls?
