The device also comes with a new barometer altimeter that helps with tracking of activities, flights climbed and outdoor based workouts such as elevation gain.
Apple also announced that the new WatchOS 4 now features an updated HR application for more insights such as resting heart rate, recovery heart rate, walking and breathing sessions. Customers can set up notifications to know if their heart rate has elevated above a specific range while being inactive.
