Philips, who is known for their home based accessories such as lighting devices, small home appliances, and health care systems has unveiled two new unique Android smartphones that hold “Anti-Blue” displays. Blue light is basically the reason why most of our eyes get strained.

The new smartphones are called the Philips Sapphire S616, and the Philips Sapphire Life V787. The S6161 holds a 5.5-inch size IPS display with 1080p resolution. The handset features an 8-core MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB built in memory with MicroSD expansion. It also includes a 13MP main camera, 5MP front camera, dual SIM support, and a 3000 mAh battery.

The V787 has almost the same specifications as the S616, except for that fact that it sports a bigger 5000 mAh battery, a smaller 5-inch screen, and phase detection auto focus for its camera. No word on its Middle Eastern availability and pricing.
