As promised, Xiaomi unveiled its new Redmi Note 3 Smartphone at an event held at the National Convention Center in Beijing. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a 1080x1920 pixels, 5.5-inch full-HD Sunlight Display and is supposedly a "fully-laminated display". The phone weighs 164 grmas and runs on MIUI 7 Android OS. The design features a full metal body and boasts of a fingerprint scanner located at the back of the device. The company claims that the scanner can unlock the phone in just 0.3 secs.
The The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor (Cortex-A53) with 2GB/ 3GB of RAM. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera with two-tone flash and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF). The front camera is of 5 megapixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants and in colors of dark grey, silver and gold.
