It was two years ago when Samsung introduced the Galaxy Alpha as their first all metal smartphone. And since then, the company introduced more premium and affordable metal devices such as the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7, each differing with screen size and performance. With all the craziness of the impressive Samsung S6 series flagship smartphones, it was evident that the A-series needed a refresh.
Now the company has introduced their 2016 edition of the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 with better hardware, sharper displays OIS camera, new metal-glass designs, and fingerprint scanners. The Galaxy A7, the biggest of them all now sports a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution. The device is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa core processor with 3GB RAM, running Android 5.1.1 OS. The device also sports 16GB memory and MicroSD card slot expansion. The 2016 Galaxy A7 features 3300 mAh battery.
The Galaxy A5 2016 comes with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1.6GHz octa core processor, 2GB RAM and Android 5.1.1 OS. The internal storage is 16GB with MicroSD slot, and the battery is a 2900 mAh battery.
However, the 2016 Galaxy A3 smartphone now has a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 720p resolution. The processor is a quad core chip running at 1.5GHz, along with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage with MicroSD expansion. The battery is 2300 mAh.
All the 2016 Galaxy A series smartphones sport a 13MP rear facing camera, and a 5MP front facing shooter with F1.9 aperture lens. While the 2016 Galaxy A5 and the 2016 A7 supports Optical Image Stabilization, the 2016 Galaxy A3 lacks such feature. Additionally, the 2016 Galaxy A5, and the 2016 Galaxy A7 smartphone holds a fingerprint scanner.
