South Korean electronics major LG is set to showcase an entirely new range of smartphones at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2016). These handsets will be the LG K7 and K10 respectively.
According to an official press release by LG [via Android Central], both the K7 and K10 smartphones will fall into the category of pure mid-rangers, and visitors at the CES can check-out these devices at Hall 8204 at the Convention Center in Las Vegas.
CES 2016 will officially be opened from 6 January and go on till 9 January.
Key technical specifications of both of LG’s K7 and K10 have surfaced, and are listed below, however their price-tag is yet to be announced. USP of the LG K10 (comparatively advanced than the K7) is that it supports the LG Gesture Shot and Gesture Shot Interval features.
Gesture Shot: Users can simply raise a hand in front of the lens, to automatically snap a selfie.
Gesture Interval Shot: This feature renders four successive photos, automatically, when users close a hand twice in front of the camera.
LG K7: This handset features a 5-inch FWVGS display and runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) straight out of the box. The LG K7 incorporates 1.1GHz quad-core and 1.3GHz quad-core CPUS supporting LTE and 3G respectively.
Photography enthusiasts get an 8MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front snapper.
The phone also comes with 1.5GB RAM and offers 8/16GB internal storage options. For connectivity, there are LTE, HSPA, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and microUSB. A 2,125mAh battery powers the LG K7.
LG K10: Being a comparatively advanced smartphone, than the K7, LG K10 features a 5.3-inch screen and runs Google’s Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Under-the-hood, the handset incorporates a 1.2GHz octa-core and 1.14GHz octa-core CPUS supporting LTE and 3G.
A 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front snapper adorn the smartphone.
There is a 2 GB RAM and default internal storage is 8/16GB. The LG K10 supports LTE, HSPA, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and micro-USB connectivity. A 2,300 mAh battery powers the LG K10.
