By Team Feedbaac

It looks like Fitbit who is popularly known for their fitness trackers, has now announced a new wearable device with smartwatch-alike functionality at the CES 2016 event. It’s simply called the Blaze, a color touchscreen based smart wearable that almost does everything like a smartwatch.

Yes, you can track your heart rate continuously, along with an on-screen workout record functionality. The device can also alert you for incoming calls, text messages, phone calls, and even control your smartphone music. The only thing missing is the support of 3rd party, similar to the Apple Watch and Android Wear devices.

Regardless, the Fitbit Blaze is said to last about five days of use on a single charge. The Blaze will be available later in plum, black and blue colors, and leather versions in black, camel, and mist grey colors. Precise pricing of the watches is yet to be known.
