Technology major Samsung has thrown up a surprise to its loyalists at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES 206) with the launch of a conventional laptop driven by an Intel Celeron processor. This device is called the Chromebook 3 and positioned as a successor to the Chromebook 2 laptop range released in 2015.
USP of Samsung’s Chromebook 3 is its claimed 11 hour battery backup time. Apart from this, the laptop does not feature anything extraordinary, out of the box.
The Chromebook 3 features a 11.6-inch anti-glare screen having resolutions of 1366x768 pixels. It is driven by an Intel Celeron N3050 processor with Intel HD Graphics.
Under-the-hood, there is a minimum of 2GB RAM (4GB variants also available) along with 16 GB internal storage.
Samsung is claiming the Chromebook 3 to even cater to the budget conscious buyers across the globe, although exact price is yet to surface at this point in time.
