In the past, smartphones with foldable displays used to be just a concept, or something from a science fiction movie. But for years, Samsung has been trying out experimental flexible OLED screens in small and large screen sizes. Back then, there was no definite proof when the devices will become a reality. Apparently, reports now claim that the Korean giant is finally getting ready to launch their first foldable smartphone sometime next year.
According to SamMobile, the device is currently under works, and is codenamed Project Valley. Reports indicate that the device may sport a hinge with a mesh in which the display will be placed. With the hinge, users will be able to fold the device easily. The processor is said to be the next upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor, along with 3GB RAM. And it seems that Project Valley will come with a MicroSD card slot.
