Sony announces the Xperia E5 budget smartphone

Sony has officially introduced a new budget smartphone called the Xperia E5, featuring a 5-inch HD display, MediaTek processor, and great camera optics. The processor included is the quad-core MTK6753, joined with 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB inbuilt storage. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box.

The smartphone weighs about 147g, and holds a thickness of 8.2mm. The device is backed up with a 2700 mAh battery, which Sony claims can provide up to two days of battery life. The Xperia E5 houses a 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash, along with a 5MP snapper on the front. The front camera also includes a LED flash. Other features include NFC, LTE, and Dual-SIM option.
