Google officially launches the Huawei Nexus 6P

Google Inc. yesterday has officially unveiled their latest Nexus entry called the Huawei Nexus 6P smartphone. The new device is made in collaboration with Huawei- a Chinese Android handset manufacturer. While there isn’t any official word for Middle Eastern availability, the 32GB Nexus 6P will cost about 499 USD, the 64GB Nexus 6P for 549 USD, and the 128GB Nexus 6P which is the highest capacity with cost about 649 USD.

The new Google Nexus 6P carries a large 5.7’inch screen, with a sharp resolution of 2560 x 1440. The device comes powered by the 8-core Snapdragon 810 processor, along with 3GB of RAM. Google has included the device with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, which brings in several features, including battery improvements. The Nexus 6P phablet comes with a 3450 mAh battery. There is no MicroSD card slot.

The Google Nexus 6P boast a 12.3MP Sony image sensor for the rear camera, with laser autofocus. The front camera uses an 8MP image sensor. However, Google has not included the Nexus 6P with OIS. For security, Google has included their Nexus Imprint fingerprint scanner that lets smartphone users to unlock the device by one tap quickly. The device also comes with the new MicroUSB Type-C port.
